Lamp types - 250W and 400W in Mercury Vapour and Metal Halide and 250W, 400W & 600W HPS.

Construction - The headpiece, control box andlampholder are high pressure die cast LM6 Aluminium, powder coated for a corrosion resistant finish.
All external nuts and corner clamps are manufactured in stainless steel.
Stirrup bracket is galvanised steel.

Front glass - 5mm heat tempered, impact resistant glass, fitted over a silicone gasket.
Optional wire guard.

Control gear - The choke, capacitor and ignitor (when required) are fastened to a removablegeartray in the gearbox.
All control gear is SABS/IEC approved.

Lampholder - GES Porcelain.

Electrical connection - A three way 15 amp connector block is provided in the gear compartment.
Silicone covered cabtyre is used between gearbox and lampholder.
All internal wiring 1mm silicone insulated.

Reflector system - High purity aluminium, anodised and chemically brightened used in both versions.
Wide beam uses dimpled material with a maximum intensity of >665 cd/km.
Narrow beam uses smooth material with a maximum intensity of >2050 cd/km.
Beam spreads are symmetrical and vary slightly between different lamp types.

Mounting versions - Standard fitting with stirrup bracket is suitable for mounting to a wall or frame.
Non integral versions are available where the control gear is not attached to the headpiece.
