Lamp Types - Elliptical lamps are recommended
- 80 & 125w Mercury Vapour
- 70 & 100w High Pressure Sodium
- 2 x 26w PL Energy efficient
- Also available without control gear to use incandescent lamps.

Construction - Main body and gear cover are manufactured from high pressure injected UV stabilised Polypropelene.
The diffuser is manufactured from high pressure injected, UV stabilised High Impact Acrylic.
The four clips on the bowl are manufactured from stainless steel.
The spigot entry clamp is manufactured from hot dip galvanised mild steel.
The internal nuts and bolts are cadium plated.

Gasket - The gasket for the bowl is fitted with a tongue and groove arrangement.
The gasket is silicone sponge.
A rubber grommet is fitted in between the bowl and gear compartment to ensure the cables are closed to prevent ingress between the compartments.

Gear Tray - The gear tray is manufactured from Galvanised mild steel.
The gear tray is fitted by means of 2 screws with a key hole arrangement to allow easy removal.

Control Gear - The choke, capacitor and ignitor when required are fitted to the gear tray which is fastened to the body for ease of maintenance. All control gear is SABS approved.

Lampholder - As required for the lamps type E40 and E27 both porcelain.

Electrical Connection - A three way, 15 amp connector block is provided.
